SCL - Schmidty’s Contracting Ltd. has recently been awarded the authorized dealer territory for Robertson Building Systems in SCL’s marketing area in southwestern and south-central Ontario. The company is expanding and this new authorized dealership works right into their expertise and expansion plans.

Just prior to the receiving the dealership President Todd Schmidt announced the appointment of Brian Schmidt (Todd’s father) to the post of Vice-President, Sales and Marketing.

Schmidty’s Contracting Ltd. was established in 2002 in Stratford, On. The company has been successful in the small market area largely in the residential and commercial sectors. In 2008 the business was relocated to Sebringville, On, a small hamlet just minutes from Stratford. That event sparked the beginning of an expansion move.

The next step toward an ever increasing business profile saw the Vice-President announcement. And the most recent step was being awarded with the Robertson Buildings Systems authorized metal building dealership.

The dealership award was carefully orchestrated. You see Brian has over 40 years experience in all phases and sectors of construction. Specifically he has over 10 years experience with pre-engineered steel metal building systems – many of those with other Robertson dealers.
